Cruise Missile Intersectionality presents a blunt political commentary on the paradoxical nature of performative allyship. Building on the trajectory set in Proof Of Identity (cassauna/Imprec, 2023), the live-set is a tongue-in-cheek audiovisual onslaught on the feel-good politics of Western liberalism. By shining a bright light on the dissonance between the proclaimed values of equality and justice and the material pursuit of dominance and supremacy, the work aims to disrupt and challenge the self-congratulatory, hypocritical, and complacent stance of Western cultural and academic institutions towards war and imperialism.
